Reef Fish

Grouper

Grouper season off the east coast of Florida is closed from January 1st to April 30th. The best time to go grouper fishing is when the season opens up in May up until June. The season closes back down in the fall.

The most common groupers are the red grouper, scamp grouper and gag grouper, with the Warsaw grouper and black grouper making occasional appearances. Our grouper fishing is at its most productive during our Bahamas Charter Fishing Adventures. The combination of an abundance of reef structure and the lack of fishing pressure makes for productive grouper fishing charters.

Snappers

The best time of the year to go bottom fishing in the Bahamas and off the coast of Stuart is during the spring and summer seasons. We catch the red snapper, yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, vermillion snapper, and lane snapper.

When it comes to bottom fishing, there’s no better place to do it than in the Bahamas. The abundance of reef structure and the lack of fishing pressure make a perfect combination for bottom fishing enthusiasts. However, we also bottom fish the waters of Jensen Beach and Jupiter.

Sharks

The best time to go shark fishing is during the spring and summer seasons, when sharks are most abundant. We catch hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, spinner sharks and nurse sharks. All of these bad boys are going to put up a fight, but the strongest of the four is the bull shark. Most of the bull sharks we catch weigh between 150 and 250 pounds, so be prepared for the fight of your life.
